Speeding, Just Give It a Serious Thought
In majority of instances people are caught by the traffic police speeding are either drunk or under the influence of some other drug. It is a quality of alcohol and other intoxicants that they tend to inhibit our sense of right and wrong, further they distort our sense of space and time and our motor functions are seriously compromised, and we tend to do certain thing that we would otherwise avoid or stay away from when we are sober, speeding is one such act.
These drugs also induce in us a false sense of security and we tend to think highly of our selves and have confidence in our skills, for instance driving. But the truth is that under the influence of these intoxiocants and hullicination inducing agents we loose our hold on reality, and in such state accidents are inevitable.
Under the influence of these contraband substances we fail to realize that we are speeding at such limits that if and when we have to apply the brakes, either the car would over turn or bang against a building, or even worse hit an unsuspecting pedestrain. Causing him fatal injuries, and even worse leaving indelible marks on our physche.
We all know that physical wounds heal sooner or later with time but the emotional and mental scars take a long time to heal if they heal at all. So when driving always be careful that you owe a collective responsibility to the rest of people on the road. And avoid speeding at all costs.
