Suzuki GSX 1250 F Proof Abs: No, do not believe I’m remembering the title of a famous series of films that were on the bill several years ago, but to see and test the new Suzuki GSX 1250 FA, it is inevitable for me to take the looked back. I said repeatedly that the economic situation we come across in recent years, many things are changing and one that concerns us most directly is the supply of bikes that are in all market segments. Times of austerity and play in a world as crazy as ours, I see with some disappointment but with much logic, that reason is surpassing passion
“Reason Surpassing Passion” is misleading. I do not think anyone buys a toy like a motorcycle because it is “reasonable”. If you are talking about affordability, that is a different matter. With regards the 1250FA, cheap and nasty it is NOT. Outragously expensive and bank loan repairs are also not in it’s brief. That leave perception, desirability and value for money. If “austeriy” really is the big bad boss, then the 2 wheeler will be the last to be considered a sensible transport. Meaning, things are not as bad as they might seem to some people, though of course for others, genuine hardship is undeniable. For those people, they do not need a bike. They need a JOB!
So, to wrap up, passion is NOT dead. Disappointment is for children (who thought they’d get a bigger Christmas Present but didn’t). The 1250FA fits the bill if you like it. If not, perhaps it’s not the bike’s fault. Biking is about the experience and not altogether determined by the machine or the economic times, whatever they might be personally.
