The new BMW 1 Series, Available with Bodywork Three Doors
After that were announced important changes to the entire BMW range this month, the new BMW Series premieres January 2012 version of three-door body, which is already available in Spain. In addition, under the hood opens a new range of engines with some units never before exhibited, both in the upper range to the input model. The powerful petrol and diesel engines equipped with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, modern technology and the RWD chassis, which remains unique in the segment, extremely sporting performance guarantees are expressed faithfully through the elongated lines of the new BMW 1 Series 3-door. The sporting qualities manifest themselves more concentrated in the first M car BMW Performance segment of compact cars.
The BMW M135i leads the segment with its gasoline engine with inline six-cylinder M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology and 320 hp, to the advanced technology of its chassis, perfectly adapted to the great power typical M style, as well as various parts of the body aerodynamically optimized and unique cabin configuration. The new entry model is now the BMW 114i four-cylinder engine with 102 hp. The expected range for the date of launch of the new BMW 1 Series 3-door model is completed with two petrol and four additional diesel models, including the BMW 116d EfficientDynamics Edition with 116 hp propeller and CO2 emissions of 99 grams per kilometer.
The BMW 114i and the BMW M135i also offered in 5-door version in the same release date 3-door model. Except for the BMW 114i and BMW 116d EfficientDynamics Edition, all models can be equipped optionally gearbox eight-speed automatic, unique in the compact car segment. The Auto Start / Stop is offered in combination with the manual gearbox and with the automatic gearbox. In addition, the set of BMW EfficientDynamics technologies including PRO ECO mode, which is activated by the Control Driving Experience.
